Hi! I’m Emily Bonifacio, a Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) trained writer specializing in screenplays, plays, and entertainment writing for film, TV, VR, theatre, and podcasts. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dramatic Writing with Magna Cum Laude honors and made the Dean’s List throughout my college career. I’ve built a hands-on toolkit in screenwriting, playwriting, and broader entertainment writing, including shooting, producing, and writing a short film, and a TV pilot that reached quarterfinals in LA and Miami screenplay competitions. Beyond writing, I’ve collaborated as a co-producer, casting director, and script editor on SCAD projects, and I’ve contributed as a freelance writer for BroadwayWorld, The Things, Dead Talk News, and an MPII internship in MP/TV story development. I’m excited to bring collaborative storytelling, adaptability, and creative energy to new projects. My most recent projects have been writing screenplays for SCAD sutdent short films that are still in post production and participating in this year's national 24-hour play festival in Savannah, Georgia.
