I have 24 years of design and development experience in instructional design, eLearning development and digital media production. This has involved working within organisational Learning and Development teams and external agencies in both the public sector and corporate environments. Working individually or in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, including subject matter experts, project managers, training and admin teams. I have been responsible for all aspects of digital learning production and distribution (Including LMS management), from concept to delivery. My contributions have been integral to the implementation of technology-based learning solutions across dispersed and varied learner cohorts.
As well as training development, my roles have been consultative, providing expertise and strategic guidance to facilitate training delivery transitions from classroom-based activity to online and digital approaches. This strategic role has required me to identify and implement technology driven solutions to meet organisational present and future training needs. Delivering this support means I need to maintain a strong awareness of current learning and development trends and technology in practice. My long career in digital learning design and technology allows me to bring an informed, innovative, learner-centric attitude to the application of technology within the learning environment. My extensive experience and knowledge equip me with the ability to respond to stakeholder requirements, manage expectation and achieve desired outcomes, whilst balancing available resources, budget and time restraints.
