Hi, I’m Juan Rafael Guido Gómez. I’m a music educator and choral conductor who loves shaping young voices and making learning engaging. I’m currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education with a concentration in Didactics of Music History and Music Education, because great teaching and meaningful music go hand in hand. My journey blends performance and pedagogy, and I’ve built a career developing curricula, directing ensembles, and mentoring researchers.
My path includes a Master’s in Pedagogy, a Pedagogy degree with a Music Education focus, and specializations in Lyric Singing and Choral Direction from UPOLI. I’ve directed the Artemisa Female Vocal Ensemble, taught singing at UPOLI, led the Batahola Angel Torrellas choir, and trained young flutists at Batahola Norte Cultural Center. I also mentor research at UNAN-Managua and have coordinated research teams, always aiming to fuse artistic practice with robust educational practice.
