I am an educator and writer who's written novels, plays, scripts for musicals, and screenplays. My novels are self-published, written for a YA and New Adult audience. My plays and musicals (as the scriptwriter) are written for a general audience. My newest adventure is writing screenplays, having completed the Television Writing certificate program with UCLA. I hope to have my screenplays produced someday on a streaming network. I submit my screenplays and some of my plays to competitions and place in the quarter-finalist or above categories. One of my plays placed as a Second Rounder (top 20%) at the Austin Film Festival in the Playwright competition. When I'm not writing, I'm involved with a local historical society, lead a Jane Austen reading group, and belong to a large writers' group.
