From her darkly comic queer family drama 'Cherrys', winner of Urbanworld Film Festival’s Grand Jury Prize for Best Screenplay, to the horror/fantasy 'Vampires in Venice' showcased at Marché du Film in Cannes, her work continues to captivate audiences worldwide with 'The Pastor' notable for its breakout roles. Additionally, Deborah's recent foray into audio fiction with the highly rated series 'Fear, A Love Story' demonstrates her versatility as a creative force in the industry. Deborah teaches Screenwriting at NYU/Tisch School of The Arts and The Sundance Institute (Sundance Collab). She has been a Humanitas Fellowship Prize mentor as well as a mentor for The Writer’s Lab, amplifying the voices of women over 40.
