Paola Angela Acosta

As an Electromechanical Engineering student, I combine hands-on 3D metrology, numerical simulation, and CAD design to bridge physical prototyping with rigorous digital validation. I thrive in fast-paced R&D environments where precision and collaboration drive innovation.

Currently an Engineering R&D Intern at LABSE, I lead 3D scanning projects with Artec Studio and perform high-precision quality inspections with Geomagic Control X to compare physical components with CAD models and ensure tolerances. I also apply Abaqus for FEA and SolidWorks for CAD, and I co-developed a metallographic etchant (R-LABSE) planned for presentation at JIM/SAM 2025. I am fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, and my background as a private tutor and in customer service supports strong communication in multicultural teams.
