Hi, I’m Yan Shi. I’m currently pursuing a Master of Data Science at the University of Malaya, focusing on cyberbullying detection on social media using transformer-based models. I’m passionate about applying AI to cognitive science, neuroscience, and psychology, and I enjoy exploring Computational Social Science and NLP to uncover insights from data. I’m also involved in research projects such as Brain Computer Interaction-based Assistive Technology for Deaf-Mute Communication as a voluntary research assistant, and I have co-authored a conference paper exploring transformer models in MBTI personality prediction. Prior to this, I earned a Digital Media Technology bachelor’s degree from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications in China. I have experience in journalism and publicity with Kaifeng's Urban-Rural Integration Demonstration District, publishing works and organizing events.
