I have been a wedding celebrant for over 6 years. I am Vice Chair of the Government Sector Continuity and Resilience Group, which means that I network with a range of polished BC practitioners. I have had a career break due to having surgery to remove a large brain tumour, and the associated impacts of this. I build robust working relationships at all levels of the organisation, and am adept at working with senior level staff. I frequently "exceeded expectations" in my performance reviews over 12 years at(a government department called Land Information New Zealand) LINZ, and was recognised there as a highly competent communicator. I was one of 20 applicants at LINZ who was successful in my application to attend a natural government sector aspiring leaders course, which identified my Myers Briggs profile as ENTP. I have successfully operationalised legislation and policy, and have robust problem solving and analytical skills. I have many examples of having successfully written for Ministers, including a ministerial speech for the opening of our new building. I have been recognised for my high attention to detail, and have frequently peer reviewed others’ work, and coached and mentored staff into writing functions for ministerial briefings, correspondence, and OIAs. Skills: project management, relationships building, analysis, writing, research, communication. Hobbies: volunteering at riding for the disabled, HUHA, bike riding, dog walking, cooking and baking.
