Hi, I’m Maitreyee Ghosh, a lead singer with several years of performing and training. I love crafting my voice across genres and continually strive to sharpen my technical skills. I’m comfortable with Indian classical training as well as Bollywood, Sufi, Ghazal, Rabindra Sangeet, Nazrul Geeti, and Bengali and regional styles, and I enjoy learning new musical languages and textures. My journey began on stage at a young age and I’ve carried that stage presence into every performance. I’ve studied under renowned mentors such as Pdt Paresh Dutt Dwary, Shri Mukund Dutt Dwary, and briefly under Pdt Ajoy Chakrabarty, and I’m currently under the tutelage of Shri Shurjo Bhattacharya. I’ve performed with many artists and at events organized by groups like Spic Macay, and I have been honored with awards including the Championship trophy at PMCH Music Festival and IIT Kharagpur Vocal Classical Championship.
