Working alongside a team of five to rotate providing sound, lights and anything needed for shows at the Mercury. Trained on the ION, GIO and QLab. New shows bring new challenges.

Light Technician at Royal Caribbean International

Currently the only light technician on the ship. Daily tasks include programming for headliner acts, projection using Medialon and use of Hog consoles. Continuously upgrading knowledge by patching lights, fixing scrollers and reading manuals to improve.

Promoted to head stage staff. Supervising a team of seven, organizing the team to be in the right place with the right knowledge and materials. Creating schedules for the whole team, checking emails daily, training new colleagues and handling daily challenges to improve. Led an ice make in Studio B, training people from different parts of the division and being on call 24/7 for two days.

Technical Stage Staff at Royal Caribbean International

Worked directly with the entertainment team to deliver two or three shows per day and set/strike on the stage, Studio B, Promenade, Star Lounge and Pool Deck. Managed debarking guests and wheelchair duty with confidence and courtesy.
