Hi, I’m Jay Parrenas. I’m a California-based composer and musician who collaborates across jazz, classical, and multimedia art forms. I’ve written original scores for dance, film, and theater, arranged music for piano and orchestra, and led in-studio sessions for game and film projects. I’m passionate about blending storytelling with music and about fostering arts education in communities.
Beyond composing, I teach guitar, develop curricula for varied learners, and enjoy exploring how sound design and narrative intersect.
