Leading the design and development of scuba diving equipment and underwater life support for sport, commercial & military. Directing an in-house design team, including a tool room, machinists, injection moulders and electronic engineers. Working to strict European and international standards due to the nature of the products developed. Initiating new products from creating specifications, sketches & CAD through to prototyping, testing, costing, manufacturing and marketing. Utilising Creo to transfer concepts into 3D space, producing 2D detailed drawings, designing injection mould blocks, tools and jigs. Using high level test equipment (ANSTI SYSTEM) to ensure in-house products conform to standards as well as testing clients' equipment.
