Hi, I’m Vernon Stamm. I’m a semi-retired freelance photographer based in Texas with decades of experience shooting real estate, hotels, resorts and events, plus editorial work and stock photography. I started photography in high school and have maintained a freelance practice since the late 1960s, always looking for compelling stories behind every image.
When I’m not behind the lens, I teach English as a second language online and on-site in China, and I enjoy travel writing and photojournalism, sharing stories from the road and the people I meet along the way.
