Natalie is a senior at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) pursuing a BFA in Graphic Design with a Concentration in Computation, Technology and Culture (CTC). Her main interests lie in publication, experimental typefaces, and identity systems. Currently, she is a type designer at Blaze Type, designing and developing her own original typeface, Elliot, for commercial release. She is also a Creative Director at Brown Political Review, Brown’s largest student-run, nonpartisan magazine for political journalism. Previously, she interned at 8-Ball Community, coordinating with Printed Matter to present the 2024 NY East Village Zine Fair on St. Mark’s Place. Her design practice investigates the graphic medium as a vessel for humor, philosophy, and visual storytelling. In her free time, she enjoys binding sketchbooks for her friends.
