Hi there! I’m Lexie Buchananan, a mezzo-soprano vocalist and theatre performer currently studying in Auckland. I combine jazz vocal training with substantial stage experience across school productions and community theatre, bringing warmth, energy, and storytelling to every performance.
I am pursuing a BA in Drama and Media Studies and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance (Vocal) at the University of Auckland. I have earned NZQA Drama Scholar Awards in 2022 and 2023, plus various acting and performing accolades at Macleans College. I love musical theatre, cabaret, and contemporary gigs, and I’m always excited to take on new creative challenges such as Funky Something and Showquest performances.
