Full-stack engineer on the Cybersecurity and Technology Controls line of business. Built and maintained an internal web application used firm-wide by engineering teams to track and manage the full lifecycle of application security vulnerabilities. Owned the design and development of a full-stack batch-automation feature that processes detected vulnerabilities and creates Jira issues based on user-defined rules, integrating with the Atlassian API. Assisted with the integration of an LLM service to summarize technical descriptions of vulnerabilities and provide remediation guidance. Technologies used included Java, Spring, ReactJS, Tomcat, Oracle PL/SQL, Jenkins, and Git; contributed to UI improvements for usability and functionality; drafted simplified explanations of advanced NLP models and recommended future compute-resource specs to guide budgeting and team efficiency.

Developed and engineered a relational database using Python and SQLite3, providing a proof-of-concept to centralize the organization’s environmental intelligence data for streamlined analysis. Implemented Python functions to transform data into formats suitable for insertion into a relational database. Collaborated with a non-technical team to translate conceptual ideas into a functional product.

May–Aug 2023: Built and evaluated data workflows for analytics, including design and implementation considerations for a potential NLP/AI-assisted data layer. Proposed a ChatGPT plugin design enabling natural language queries to improve accessibility and querying capabilities for internal datasets.
