I began my career as the frontman, guitarist, and primary songwriter for the Sydney pub rock band Avion. We were signed to RCA Records in the early 80s and spent years touring relentlessly across Australia, soaking up the energy of the live music scene. After a tragic accident claimed the life of our keyboard player, I decided to pursue opportunities overseas. That decision took me to the UK for nearly five years, where I worked with several acts, most notably Bonnie Tyler. Returning to Sydney, I shifted toward studio sound engineering and production, while continuing to perform with legendary artists like Billy Thorpe and Jon English. My path then led me to the US, where I toured with Shania Twain on her Come on Over and Up! world tours, followed by collaborations with Keith Urban, Rodney Crowell, and SheDaisy.
