João Marques

Hi, I’m João Marques, a Portuguese musician and audio professional with a strong academic background and wide freelance experience in live sound, studio production, sound design and composition. I’m motivated by creative challenges and continuous growth, and I love collaborating on projects that push sonic boundaries and tell stories through sound.

I’ve built a diverse practice across FOH, studio work, field recording, and soundtrack work, always aiming to blend technical excellence with expressive storytelling. I’m driven by collaboration and a curiosity to explore new sounds and processes.
