Shinichiro Ikeda
I am a Berlin-based composer and sound artist working across ambient, cinematic and spatial sound practices.
My work focuses on atmosphere, pacing and emotional nuance, often using a combination of piano, subtle electronics and field textures to create sound that supports visual and narrative contexts. Rather than foregrounding spectacle, I am interested in how sound can quietly shape perception and guide the listener’s sense of space and mood.
Alongside my solo practice, I collaborate in interdisciplinary settings including fashion presentations, installation works and visual projects. In 2025 I composed the original soundtrack for a runway show by Daniel Kujawa at Berlin Fashion Week.
I am particularly interested in projects where sound is treated as part of the overall environment — whether for film, exhibitions or brand work — and enjoy working closely with directors and creatives to develop a cohesive sonic identity.
