As a rare bone cancer survivor - I have found my voice in which I host 2 programs on Radio Maria Canada, called Beyond the Pages, and The Fathers' Quilt both of a Catholic nature. As a lector in the church people have told me every single time I read that my voice is warm and believable and that if God was a woman that is how he would sound. I have spoken and lent my voice beyond the resume. I forgot to include local television where I wrote and spoke about positive living. I currently write for the Aurora newspaper in positive living directed to seniors - the column is called Seniorscape for the past 8 years. As a retired teacher, when I read to the children they could have sat for hours listening to all the characters I played in each novel. There is great joy in using my voice, despite all that I have been through, there is no greater gift than using it for the betterment and goodness of humanity.
