I am a multidisciplinary designer who combines visual communication, front-end development, and music creation. Starting from a commercial studies program in high school, I discovered my passion for design and web development while learning financial management. For three consecutive years I won top-three awards in my school’s web design competitions. In addition, I self-studied commercial design courses, obtained the national Advertising Design C-Level Certificate, and built my first professional portfolio — laying a solid foundation for my future career. While pursuing a degree in Visual Communication Design at university, I broadened my perspective and gained practical experience. I was invited by professors to design and develop several school websites, class uniforms, and business cards. I also took part in commercial projects at a senior student’s studio, creating websites, logos, apparel, and print designs. Believing that design is not just decoration but problem-solving, I challenged myself in my graduation project by producing a 30-minute short film as a one-woman team. I handled the scriptwriting, directing, cinematography, editing, makeup, props, costumes, exhibition design, and even composed and recorded the theme song. The work was successfully exhibited on campus and at the Southern Youth Design Joint Exhibition — an experience that cemented my ability to integrate creativity and execution. Professionally, I specialize in web and front-end design, with strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, RWD, and jQuery, as well as familiarity with Razor, ASP.NET MVC, Figma, and Adobe XD. I am capable of transforming UI/UX wireframes into interactive, responsive interfaces and collaborating closely with back-end engineers to deliver high-quality digital products. I continuously update my knowledge of new design and front-end technologies to combine aesthetics with user experience, striving to create intuitive and user-friendly solutions. Alongside my design work, I serve as the lead vocalist and visual coordinator of a rock band, responsible for songwriting, creative direction, and brand management. This experience has honed my cross-disciplinary collaboration, project management, and high personal standards, as well as my ability to view creativity and user needs from multiple angles. I aspire to be an independent-thinking designer and front-end developer who not only executes visuals but also integrates business goals, technical feasibility, and visual aesthetics to deliver value. For me, design and front-end development are not just a job but a lifelong path of learning, self-expression, and creating meaningful experiences for others.
