I am a theatre and performing arts programmer, producer and educator based in Alphington, Australia. Over several decades I have led programming and producing at universities and major theatre companies, commissioning world premieres, building cross-disciplinary collaborations, and nurturing Australian talent. At MPAC I grew the program from just over 20 events a year to more than 75 in 2024, helped launch initiatives like the Indian Performing Arts Convention, and supported major commissions from artists such as Circa, Eric Whitacre, and Lemony’s Puppet Theatre. I also developed Progress Link to connect artists with Monash researchers, and I helped seed early visions that became the Kindred People First Nations knowledge symposium. I am passionate about education and mentoring the next generation of artists. My work across Melbourne universities and education programs includes teaching, mentoring, and curriculum development, as well as fostering collaborations between artists and researchers. I strive to support diverse voices, nurture emerging writers and dramaturgs, and sustain high-quality live performance and cross-arts projects that engage communities and audiences alike.
