Hi, I’m Raúl Muñoz Ruiz, a Montreal-based VFX artist with a strong Houdini background and solid experience in Nuke compositing, CFX, and roto animation using Maya and 3DEqualizer. I’ve led FX work on multiple projects and enjoy teaching, which I do as a Houdini tutor at Animum 3D School. I’m passionate about collaborating with teams, sharing knowledge, and delivering high-quality visuals for film, TV, and interactive media.
Outside of work, I’ve built a freelance practice as a photographer, videographer, video editor, sound designer, and music composer. I rely on the Adobe Creative Suite, Logic Pro, and Final Cut Pro for my craft, and I continually seek opportunities to learn, mentor, and contribute to creative productions.
