Hi, I’m Simonetta, a costume designer and visual artist with over 30 years in film, television, and theatre. I love collaborating with directors, designers, and craftspeople to create costumes that tell a character’s story, reflect history and context, and move the narrative forward. I also work as a photographer and illustrator, and I enjoy teaching and mentoring others in costume making and production.
I’ve worked across North America and Europe, building wardrobes for contemporary, period, and futuristic looks, and I thrive under tight deadlines and evolving budgets. My practice blends hands-on craftsmanship with creative concept development, supported by my experience in teaching and leading diverse production teams.
