Available to hire
Hello, I’m Roberto Poveda, a Cuban American educator, songwriter, and filmmaker based in Brooklyn, New York. I blend storytelling, music, and education to inspire students and audiences, producing work that reflects Latino heritage and community voices.
In addition to teaching in NYC public schools and colleges, I compose, perform, and direct, with releases on Latin music labels and collaborations across independent media. I’m grateful to share my art and teaching through LEAPNYC residencies and OBT GED instruction.
