About

I am a New Media practitioner that is passionate about film and video game design. Practitioner, because New Media artist sounds like a little much. My specialties include script writing and video editing. Demonstrating proficiency in the field of New Media earned me a spot on the University of Lethbridge’s Dean’s Honour list. My projects are praised for their humour and unique concepts. The good grades are nice and all, but what’s really important is that people laugh and enjoy my work (I promise they did, you just had to be there). More than just doing things by the book, I put my own spin on things. Have you ever seen a parody of the Swedish classic: The Seventh Seal that turns out to be a Better Call Saul-esque insurance ad? Or a motion design assignment turned into a tutorial on how to steal catalytic converters so your dad can pay rent? If so, well, I guess I wasn’t as original as I thought. When someone sees a project of mine, they’ll think “Yeah, Liam definitely made that one”, and as far as I can tell, that’s a good thing.

A visual novel game centering around a murder mystery. I wrote the script as well as created the visuals and music.

A documentarian is killed while investigating a murder and now it’s up to you to solve both mysteries.

Bryn Hewko: Liam’s final project is an outstanding example of inventive, emotionally resonant interactive storytelling, blending personal history, fiction, and choice-driven narrative. It demonstrates exceptional skill, creative vision, and a deep understanding of how interactive media can convey complex ideas.
