Led the migration of a live removalist-management platform from Ruby 2.6.9 / Rails 5 to Ruby 3.4 / Rails 8. The system manages 45,000+ users and customer records across jobs and moves, invoicing, timesheets, payroll, Stripe payments, and storage. Owned the upgrade plan, dependency and gem audit, code and test fixes across major-version breaks, and the cutover. Built a TOML-driven Python tool to walk every record in the old database and replicate it into the new schema, applying custom transformations per table where the data model changed. Built and extended custom CRM and admin systems on top of Yuldi for multiple B2B clients, some serving thousands of end customers, from stakeholder requirements through to deployed features. Built automated client communication systems (SMS and email) with trigger rules and reusable templates, plus quote and invoice workflows with PDF generation and status tracking.
