I’m an award-winning writer and director with over 20 years of experience creating feature films, prime-time TV episodes, web series, audio plays, short films, and a published novel. I’m known for my collaborative approach in writers’ rooms—leading teams and working closely with showrunners—and I regularly serve as a script doctor, adapting my process to fit different environments and styles. Beyond writing, I teach at film schools, run workshops, and guide script development. I work across development, production, and story editing with a pragmatic, story-first mindset, and I bring the same energy to mentoring and teaching others to develop strong, original ideas. Over the past 10 years, I've also been editing all of my short films and videos, including award winning shorts starring Arthur Darvill, Hannah Tointon, Shaun Dooley, Sally Phillips, idents for film festivals, and music videos. I'm skilled with DaVinci Resolve (I have the full Studio edition), Final Cut Pro (which I also have installed), and Premiere (I don't currently have a subscription but have used it extensively).
