From global travel and tech brands, to local food and lifestyle businesses, and even a couple of years agency side, I've worked across sectors, platforms, multiple marketing departments and industries, with a focus on delivering results. I launched my social media strategy consultancy Seventeen Social in 2025, and it was born out of a simple idea: To make that corporate level of social media support accessible to small businesses, and to bring expertise, confidence, and strategic thinking to those who need it most - but maybe don't have the budgets or capacity for large scale teams, retainer contracts and agencies. My goal is to help independent businesses simplify their socials through strategy so they can show up with purpose and achieve results. Social media doesn't need to be complicated, it just needs to be built especially for you. Before launching Seventeen Social, I spent a decade not just in corporate social media, but also growing a trusted local presence through my North East Blog, Instagram and Facebook channels. Over the years I’ve connected with creators, PR teams, independent business owners, and local brands across the North East and UK, sharing their stories, collaborating and often having conversations with them about social media. Those conversations, over coffee, at events and even in my DMs were also the inspiration behind Seventeen Social. Because time and time again I'd hear their struggles and know I could help. My consultancy brings together everything I've learned and loved, from global strategy to grassroots storytelling, to help small businesses who deserve more than just content for content's sake, without signing up to big budget retainer contracts.
