I'm Ashkan Saberi, an Iranian-born composer and guitarist based in Turin, Italy. I earned a Master of Composition (110 cum laude) at Conservatorio 'G. Verdi' di Torino in 2024 under Giorgio Colombo Taccani, and I have participated in masterclasses with Ivan Fedele, Giorgio Colombo Taccani, Gianluca Cascioli, Clara Iannotta, and Mauro Lanza. My work spans concert music, guitar repertoire, and multimedia pieces, with performances across Italy and Europe, including the Turin Conservatory and Nuova Consonanza programs. I aim to bridge traditional classical forms with contemporary media. Publishings with Bergmann since 2017 have supported my exploration of film scores, orchestration, and collaborative works. Notable pieces include Illusione Eshraq for electric guitar and tape, performed at Nuova Consonanza in 2018, and Destiny Suite for guitar quartet, which drew on Omar Khayyam-inspired poetry and other multi-ensemble projects. I have conducted guitar ensembles, collaborated with Seattle's guitar orchestra, and written music for soundtrack competitions and short films. I enjoy transposing a wide range of influences into expressive, contemporary soundscapes.
