Originally from Atlanta, I am currently studying composition at the Hugh Hodgson School of Music in Athens, Georgia. I study trombone under Dr. Joshua Bynum and perform with ensembles ranging from wind ensembles to contemporary chamber groups, while also participating in Athens' local music scene. I study composition with Dr. Emily Kohan and Dr. Peter Van Zant Lane, and I am a member of the International Trombone Association and ASCAP. My music has been performed internationally, spanning orchestral, electronic, and chamber settings. Recently my focus has been on solo trombone and electronics, seeking to mesh these two worlds together.
