Peter VanDyke Classical and Experimental Guitarist A native of Western New York, Peter VanDyke has performed solo and in ensembles as a Blues, Gospel, and Classical guitar stylist in the US, Canada, and Ireland. Career highlights include performances with composer and jazz bassist James Kurzdorfer, Hammond keyboardist Joe “Groove” Madison, folk guitarist Richie Havens, and providing guitar and backing vocal tracks to the Dan Harper Band’s EP “Charlene” in the BCMK studio of Tom Calandra. Collaboration with percussionist Gary Rutkowski has led to recordings of Andrew Michlinski's "The K-T Boundary" and Rutkowski's compositions "Gong Rhythms" and “World without End." A faculty member in Guitar Performance at Community Music School, Buffalo, and Nardin Academy, VanDyke is a founding member of the Buffalo Guitar Ensemble and is the guitar in the Rutkowski/VanDyke Duo (marimba and guitar).
