Hi, I’m Mónica Santolaria, a Spanish-born 2D animator and musician based in Valencia. I hold a BA in Fine Arts with a specialization in Animation from UPV and I am currently pursuing a Master in 2D Animation at UPV Valencia (2025–Actualidad). I also trained as a professional musician at the Valencia Conservatory with a focus on Trompa, and I have hands-on experience with Toon Boom Harmony, Storyboard Pro, Photoshop, Blender, Procreate and Premiere Pro. I’ve collaborated on character animation projects and have experience in dialogue animation alongside other storyboarding and software tools. I’ve completed a 2017–2021 Animation Workshop focusing on character animation and dialogue-perfusion with Toon Boom and related tools.
