Also heading into production is The Hatchery, a creature horror film set against the harrowing world of human trafficking, directed by Howard J. In television, I'm co-developing Queen of Clubs, a gritty drama set in the hedonistic 1990s rave scene, with Sadia Frost and Jamie Winstone, currently with Sister Pictures (Chernobyl, Eric, Black Doves). Other projects I have been commissioned to write include TOMAS, a feature adaptation of the incendiary novel by Ministry of Sound founder Lord James Palumbo; Polyester, a darkly comic TV series in development with New Sparta Productions (The Killing of a Sacred Deer, Mafia Mamma, Neither Confirm Nor Deny); Augmental, a high-concept action thriller about the dangers of augmented reality, in development with director Alastair Orr (Indigenous, Hunting Jessica Brock); and Dreamboy, a feature exploring the story behind the legendary male entertainment brand The Dreamboys.
