Hello, I’m Dr Anthony J Quinn, a writer and storyteller from Ulster whose novels blend crime, history and landscape. My ten novels have earned broad critical acclaim from major outlets, and my work explores the moods and memories of post-ceasefire Northern Ireland through crime fiction, historical fiction and memoir. I also teach and mentor across universities and writing networks, and I actively engage with communities through workshops and mentoring projects. As an educator and facilitator, I have led creative-writing courses at Queen’s University Belfast, served as Royal Literary Fund Fellow, run the Lost Landmarks storytelling project with communities in County Cavan and Tyrone, and mentored writers at the Irish Writers Centre and the Prison Arts Foundation. My work centers on turning memory, landscape and social history into powerful narratives that connect people across time and place.
