Hi, I’m Sadik Ahmed, a Bangladeshi-British filmmaker working across European arthouse cinema and South Asian cinema. I’m a Royal Television Society Award-winning director and double Kodak Award-winning cinematographer, trained at the National Film and Television School (MA Cinematography) and Central Saint Martins (BA Fine Art). My work is defined by psychologically driven narratives, moral ambiguity, and visually precise realism, and I frequently operate as both director and cinematographer, developing character-led films that explore identity, belief systems, trauma, and power structures across cultural contexts. In every project I aim to push the boundaries of storytelling while staying grounded in observation and empathy. I’m drawn to stories about people navigating belief, trauma, and social change, and I collaborate across cultures to bring these visions to life.
