I’m a media professional with more than a decade of experience producing, shooting, and editing compelling, award-winning non-fiction content, along with proven leadership experience. My most recent work experience has been that of Series Producer of ‘Journey Indiana’, the flagship magazine series from public media station WTIU (pbs.org/show/journey-indiana). As the series lead, I was involved in all aspects of production and post-production, collaborating closely with multiple producers and videographers. I focused on developing editorial workflows and standards so that episodes would have a consistent, high-quality look. During my tenure, the show was nominated for and won multiple Emmy and Telly awards. I personally won a Golden Telly for nature and wildlife coverage for a segment on endangered whooping cranes that overwinter in southwest Indiana (_Website not available. Our campaign resulted in 12.5 million views (and counting) and 22,000 new followers on the Meta platform. My last documentary film, ‘Adventures of T-Man,’ was distributed nationwide on public media stations via the National Educational Telecommunications Association (NETA). I believe it serves as a testament to my storytelling abilities and editorial judgment. The film follows Terrence (aka T-Man), a young man on the autism spectrum, as he navigates a jobs program. The production process had many ups and downs and took nearly two years to produce. But I understood that Terrence’s story could offer audiences a rare and meaningful perspective on life on the autism spectrum, and I felt a responsibility to see the film through. It resulted in an intimate and striking look at what it’s like to live on the spectrum in today’s world. I believe I bring a unique mix of award-winning production skills and proven editorial leadership to your role. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my experience could support your mission.
