Hi, I’m Andy Cowan. I’m an American writer and script consultant for television and other media, and I host The Neurotic Vaccine, a comedy/therapy podcast launched in 2022. The show earned recognition as one of the top comedy interview podcasts in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Italy, Greece, Denmark, Ireland, and Romania, and it won the 2025 Quill Award for Best Comedy Podcast; it was rebranded in 2026 as The Neurotic Vaccine: Comedy with a Point. I’ve spent decades in TV writing and producing, contributing to Seinfeld, Cheers, The Merv Griffin Show, and a range of pilots and late-night formats. I’ve created and hosted radio and TV projects, performed on stage, and I sing in jazz clubs around Los Angeles.
