I'm Georgia, a lyric soprano based in Cardiff, Wales, with a growing reputation across the UK opera and concert circuit. I hold a First Class Honours degree and a Master's with Distinction, both in Music from the University of York, and I bring both academic rigour and genuine stage experience to everything I do. My recent work spans a diverse range of operatic repertoire - from Musetta in La Bohème at the Brandenburg Opera Retreat in Germany, to Carmen and Hänsel in Hänsel und Gretel on UK national tours. I've performed with Bristol Opera, Bath Opera, and the Bristol Gilbert and Sullivan Operatic Society, which has given me versatility across Italian opera, French opera, German opera, and the lighter comic tradition of operetta. My voice is well-suited to the lyric soprano repertoire I continue to develop - with roles such as Gilda (Rigoletto) and Liù (Turandot) currently in study - and my working knowledge of Italian, German, and French allows me to engage authentically with the full breadth of the operatic canon. I also have experience in musical theatre and jazz.
