Hi, my name is Isabelle. I am 19 years old, and I am an aspiring sports broadcast journalist. I currently live in Manchester, where I attend UA 92 Old Trafford for a certificate of higher education in sports journalism. My working life began when I was 17. I started working with a company called Cascade Kids, helping run their after-school club and half-term camp. My responsibilities were to make sure all of the children were safe and having a fun time. I was in charge of things like setting up activities and taking responsibility for big inflatables. After this, I moved on to nursery care with a company called Wizard Staffing Solution. I worked in this role for a little while, being a temporary fill-in nursery worker for children from the ages of six months to 4 years. My role included helping the main staff keep all children safe and happy during their time in each nursery. As much as I love childcare during this time, I decided to start my own TikTok page about Formula One, as social media content creation and sports have always been a very big interest of mine and the end goal for my career After I left Wizard Staffing Solutions, I managed to get a temporary job at a golf range where I was a full-time social media marketing and content manager. This includes advising and practically making all social media posts myself, uploading them, replying to DMS and comments for the span of seven months. Every role has taught me something incredibly important about working life and real life, but my job at the golf range showed me how much I love working in sports media and how important it is that I pursue that. My voluntary roles include being the Marketing lead and a journalist at The Rookie Reporters, something I do out of pure interest and love of journalism, as well as Marketing. The reporters have given me a great avenue to be surrounded by like-minded people and continue to work towards my career. I’d love. As a journalism student, I obviously absolutely love reading and writing. It’s something that preoccupies a lot of my spare time, as well as watching and playing different sports. Previously working in childcare was definitely a time when I worked in a high-pressure environment. Being responsible for that many young children is something that has to be taken very seriously. Ensuring I go into the day with the right attitude, not being afraid to ask questions and check with people, and staying focused, helped me remain proactive during this time. .ttps://theparcfermedigitalmag.my.canva.site/copy-of-isa-charlton-portfolio
