I am a documentary filmmaker, videographer, and multimedia storyteller based in College Park, Maryland. I have just completed my Master of Arts in Journalism at the University of Maryland with a concentration in documentary filmmaking, after earning dual bachelor’s degrees in Criminal Justice & Criminology and Cinema & Media Studies. That combination shaped the way I see the world and pushed me toward telling meaningful stories that connect with people on a human level. My experience spans social media production, promotional filmmaking, and nonfiction storytelling. I’ve produced video content for UMD’s Office of Marketing & Communications, Arts for All, the Cinema & Media Studies program, and the City of Greenbelt. In these roles, I’ve filmed and edited short‑form social content, directed nonfiction projects, managed multi‑platform campaigns, and collaborated with artists, educators, and community partners to bring compelling stories to life. One of the projects I’m most proud of is my short documentary Today’s Hair, which won First Prize in the Film Category of the Sadat Art for Peace Competition at the University of Maryland. That recognition affirmed my belief in the power of intimate, human‑centered storytelling and strengthened my commitment to using film as a tool for empathy and connection. At the heart of everything I do is a simple goal: to tell stories that matter. Whether I’m directing a documentary, producing a reel, or filming a community event, I aim to create work that resonates with people and reveals something true about the world through the language of cinema.
