Hi, I’m Malte Schäfer, a German Tonmeister and musician based near Frankfurt. I am a graduate from M.Mus. in Musikregie/Tonmeister at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold, Erich-Thienhaus-Institut, and I freelance for Hessischer Rundfunk and msm-productions Asia, working across postproduction, recording, and live sound. I love collaborating with orchestras and ensembles, blending technical precision with musical sensitivity to create immersive listening experiences. In my projects I enjoy tackling challenges from postproduction and acoustics to live broadcasts, always aiming for sonic clarity and emotional impact.
