For the past twenty years, I have worked for: - Several higher education institutions in the UK, including: Royal Holloway, University of London, King's College London and University of Roehampton - Private online learning solution providers: Multiverse and Pearson - Public sector training providers: Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors, Health Research Authority and Metropolitan Thames Valley I am a qualified teacher and have a good grounding in educational theory. I hold a postgraduate diploma in education as well as a PhD in Philosophy. I have designed curricula, activities and assessments. I am product-focused and excel at bringing out the best in subject matter experts from various academic fields and business sectors. Working for various institutions has given me ample experience in effectively collaborating with different stakeholders. I have worked successfully within online teams, either as a remote independent contractor (collaborating digitally), an active team member, or as team lead. I have designed and developed both online and blended material and have used both Moodle and Blackboard in various roles on various projects. I have also used many development packages (Rise, Articulate 365, etc.) and I am comfortable using image and sound-editing software. I find it exciting and instructive to work on content from different intellectual fields and subjects and am comfortable discussing and developing proposals for initial course designs.
