I am Sumbhav Jain, a Textile and Surface Design graduate from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), New York, with a minor in International Trade and Marketing. Throughout my academic journey and industry experience, I have developed a strong foundation in woven textiles, surface design, color development, and textile manufacturing. My experience spans design, printing, merchandising, and color technology through internships with Advance Coating Group, Rue Fashion, H.M. International, and Groyyo Pvt. Ltd., where I collaborated with cross-functional teams, worked closely with textile production processes, and gained hands-on knowledge of materials, fabric construction, and product development. As a Color Matching Intern, I applied Albert Munsell's color system and used spectrophotometers and professional color-matching software to develop precise color solutions, strengthening both my technical expertise and attention to detail. What makes me stand out is my ability to bridge traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. With hands-on experience in weaving, screen printing, jacquard design, CAD, and textile development, I enjoy reinterpreting heritage techniques through a modern lens.
