I'm Erick Buendia, a first-generation filmmaker, photographer, and visual storyteller from Alexandria, Virginia, and a recent High Honors graduate of Wesleyan University, where I double majored in Film Studies and American Studies. I have done work in journalism, film production, and digital media. I've produced content for organizations including Georgetown Cupcake and Wesleyan University, documented stories ranging from arts and culture to social issues, and exhibited my paintings in galleries throughout the Washington, D.C., area. Whether I'm behind a camera, in the edit suite, or developing a story, I'm driven by a desire to create thoughtful visual work that informs, inspires, and connects people.
