I recently graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a 3.7 GPA. I'm excited to begin my software engineering career and contribute to building reliable, well-designed applications. Most of my experience comes from building projects independently. I developed a full-stack inventory management application using TypeScript, Node.js, Express.js, PostgreSQL, and EJS, implementing 12 RESTful API endpoints, complete CRUD functionality, and an MVC architecture. I also built a React eCommerce marketplace with reusable components, client-side routing, a shopping cart, and unit tests, as well as a Python dashboard that uses MongoDB for data filtering and visualization. These projects strengthened my experience designing databases, building backend APIs, developing responsive user interfaces, and deploying applications from end to end. While I'm early in my career, I've consistently demonstrated the ability to learn new technologies independently and apply them to real projects. I enjoy solving technical problems, writing maintainable code, and continuously improving my skills as a software engineer. Before transitioning into software development, I spent two years in sales at Waste Management, where I exceeded my quota each year while managing more than 50 client accounts. That experience strengthened my communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills while teaching me how to work effectively under pressure. I believe those experiences have made me a stronger teammate as well as a stronger engineer. Thank you for your time and consideration. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my technical skills, work ethic, and eagerness to learn can contribute to your team. I look forward to hearing from you.
