Designed a direct-to-cloud image upload flow with Cloudinary presigned/signed URLs to offload large transfers from the API server, then used BullMQ/Redis for asynchronous post-upload processing. Integrated a FastAPI facial-recognition microservice (InsightFace), implemented server-side ZIP generation, cursor-based infinite scroll pagination, invite/participant systems, optimistic UI updates, and authorization-guarded photo deletion.
