I have been fortunate with the wonderful opportunity to work in contrasting industries both in Australia (where I was born and raised by Nordic parents) and in Sweden. I speak, read & write fluent swedish & english. Speak broken finnish & german. Being in the workforce for several decades, I have worked in aviation (Saab Aircraft), banking (St George), education (adult and youth), national television (Sweden), import/export, hospitality, health (spa), taxation. Employers have said I work hard, learn fast & demonstrate excellent customer service skills, which shows my keen adaptability & success which is reflected when employers have kept me on until I had good reason for leaving (eg moving or being approached by another company). I have saved money for some companies where I was given flexibility outside of ordinary duties, or come up with creative ideas when given the freedom to do so, eg. organising a marching band & cheerleading squad whom volunteered in promoting the children's TV show for our national TV station, or saved money at the bank by finding customers who disappeared without a trace. Other ways I've taken initiative beyond the call of duty are for eg. to get sponsors when working in TV, who were willing to exchange services for services, or approaching my restaurant manager to allow me to start home-baked cakes/pastries which essentially widened our clientele. Some roles I have worked as: Administration, Office Manager, Relief Manager, Sales Representative, Restaurant Waiter/Baker, Supervisor, Teacher, Massage Therapist, Customer Service, Banking (Teller & Head Office), Executive Personal Assistant, TV Producer/Director. They have involved mounds of computer work using contrasting programs for each industry. I believe the experience & training contributes to a well-rounded experience that can be an asset to your company/organisation. Needless to say, I am happy to learn more yet am also just as capable to manage & supervise. I am used to working with adults & children from many walks of life. I have been told that I am happy & vivacious. I enjoy people & strongly believe that a company must have good ethics both internally & outwardly in order to reap long-standing rewards. And above all, a good reputation. To lead at a higher standard, we need to love & respect people in order to have the interest already there, which provides the launching pad for professional service & attention.
