I am Angelita Cardoso, an artist and illustrator from Brazil with a background in History. Since 2007, I have been passionately exploring various artistic techniques such as illustration, drawing, engraving, watercolor, and more recently, sculpture. My work is deeply personal and often explores themes of history, myths, psychoanalysis, archetypes, and philosophy. I've had the enriching experience of improving my craft in Italy and have exhibited my artwork in galleries across Brazil and Europe. Besides creating art, I collaborate with poets and novelists, especially in children's and young adult literature, where some of my publications have been recognized in prestigious awards like the Jabuti Prize.
