paper Art Director for Drink Me Chai
I was responsible for developing and executing the visual concept that captured the emotional transformation tied to drinking chai. I began by crafting two distinct set designs: one neutral and minimalist to represent the everyday routine, and another bold and vibrant to reflect the sensory uplift that follows. I carefully selected the color palettes, furniture, and props to evoke the right moods - warm woods and soft textures for calm, and rich velvets and eclectic patterns for energy and joy. I worked closely with the creative team to ensure every visual element supported the story we wanted to tell. My role was to translate the brand’s essence into a visual narrative that felt both relatable and inspiring. The project presents a visual narrative where a woman’s routine moment in a calm, neutral-toned living room transforms into a vibrant, expressive space after sipping Drink Me Chai. The first set features a warm, minimalist design with natural textures and muted colors, symbolizing everyday simplicity. Upon drinking the chai, the environment shifts to a bold, eclectic setting with rich hues and dynamic decor, reflecting the product’s ability to evoke warmth, indulgence, and joy. paper Art Direction for Sum Up Commercial 2025
Link to advert - https://www.twine.net/signin For this project, I worked closely with both the production team and the client to develop a cohesive visual narrative across three distinct set environments, each reflecting a unique atmosphere and aesthetic. The first shoot was set in a "cool brunch spot", where we established a relaxed yet contemporary tone through textured sage green walls paired with concrete worktops and tabletops. I was responsible for the full spatial design—sourcing all furniture, materials, and decorative elements to align with the brand’s vision. I also curated the food styling, created custom menus, selected costumes, and managed every detail of the set to ensure visual harmony and authenticity. The second set transformed into a modern coffee shop, characterized by light oak furniture and countertops, which brought warmth and natural texture to the space. To add contrast and visual interest, I introduced teal set dressing—including cups, plates, and a feature coffee machine—which gave the environment a fresh, inviting feel. I handled the design and sourcing for all components, ensuring that the palette and styling reinforced the brand’s identity while maintaining practical functionality for filming. For the third and final setup, I designed a spa-inspired environment, focusing on serenity and elegance. The look was anchored in a palette of white marble furniture and surfaces, accented by soft lavender tones throughout the accessories, textiles, and floral styling. This set required a more refined approach, emphasizing tranquility and minimalism. I oversaw the selection of all finishes, props, and visual elements to maintain a clean, luxurious feel.
paper Set Design for PFA Awards 2024 Women's Winners and Art Direction
The PFA Awards Set Design focused on creating two distinct set environments to celebrate the Women’s Player of the Year (Bunny Shaw) and the Women’s Young Player of the Year (Grace Clinton). The concept for this project was to create spaces which reflected the players personally, e.g. Bunny Shaw’s was a bedroom, set in Jamaica, with nods to her achievements and background such as a map of Spanish Town where she grew up, her university flag etc. Grace Clinton’s included text she has in tattoos, her childhood football team and family photographs. The project involved developing set mock-ups that visually highlighted each player's achievement, using tailored backdrops, lighting, and props to reflect the prestige of the awards. The final shots capture each award recipient in a polished, professional space that elevates their recognition while maintaining the visual identity of the PFA Awards.
paper Art Direction and Set Design for Football Co GOAL Studios - Indivisa and Front Three Podcast Sets
Link to Front Three: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9mODmbz0R9w&ab_channel=GOAL%27sFrontThree Football Co required a diverse and changeable set for numerous podcasts to be recorded on. I worked closely with the client to work out an adaptable style. For the 'base' set, I hand-painted a textured canvas to serve as a backdrop. I worked with the client to find perfect furniture and set dressing for Indivisa, and worked with a builder to create grates to hang in the Front Three set. I also painted a second canvas (not pictured) with a textured blue theme, cut this and attached each piece to an MDF flat, attached hooks to each flat so that it is possible for Football Co to change the background of their set with ease. paper Event Production and Set Design for The Mixer - Captain Morgan X Pepsi
https://www.twine.net/signin For The Mixer event with Captain Morgan and Pepsi Max, I worked on designing an immersive "house party" that guests would stumble into through a secret entrance hidden in a faux convenience store. From the outside, the venue looked like a low-key urban corner shop. Once inside, guests discovered a concealed door – disguised as a freezer door - which swung open to reveal something totally unexpected: a fully built house interior. We constructed a series of interlinked, lived-in rooms — each one a set-piece styled to feel like someone’s actual home, complete with subtle lighting shifts and layered textures. Guests moved organically through: • A hallway scene which included a polaroid corner where guests were able to take selfies and put pictures of themselves on the wall • A kitchen, as the dance floor – the DJ was placed on the decks at the kitchen island, and giant Pepsi and Captain Morgan cans as tables in the kitchen • A bar, in the kitchen, serving FREE cans of Pepsi X Captain Morgan all night! • A bathroom (yes, with real tiles and party-scrawled mirror messages) that doubled as a photo op. • A cozy living room with leather chesterfield sofas, speakers, and ambient light syncing to the music, creating an evolving rhythm to the night. • And finally, a dining room-style setup with vintage chairs, a long wooden table, candles, board games, and bottles of rum — styled like a slightly chaotic but warm communal hangout. The goal was to blur the line between event space and domestic familiarity — making guests feel like they weren’t just at a party, but in one. Every room had hidden surprises, themed objects, and music-reactive lighting to keep the energy moving. The secret passage entrance was a particularly powerful moment — like falling through a portal into a private, beautifully unhinged party world.
uniE621 Set Design for GLASS at art'otel Shoreditch
For this project I had to come up with a way of displaying artwork which had been printed on glass for an exhibition. The artwork was photography of a boxer, so in keeping with this theme I designed a large frame to be built out of wood, with chains attached; the attached chains were then fastened to the pieces of glass with photography printed on them and suspended from the frame. I also hand-made a leather punching bag (not pictured), for guests to sign and the artist to take away from the event as a keepsake
paper Set Design for LOCI London Fashion Week Party
I designed this branded photo op for LØCI’s London Fashion Week Party, featuring a green velvet backdrop, neon logo, and suspended sneaker. The 3D mock-up guided the build, creating a bold, photogenic set used for guest portraits and social content.
paper Design for Photo-Op Area at Brit Awards After Party 2024
I designed the "Move Good X Bacardi" BRIT Awards after-party photo op, starting with a detailed set mock-up featuring deep red velvet drapes, a glowing neon sign, and subtly branded plinths. The final execution brought this vision to life with clean, symmetrical framing, editorial lighting, and elegant integration of Bacardi products—creating a polished, VIP-style experience that photographed beautifully for both guests and media.
